Obligation Insulation PAS 2035

Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)

Supplier-led insulation support for eligible homes (e.g. council tax bands A–E or low-income routes). Typical measures include loft, cavity, and solid wall insulation.

  • Retrofit pathway typically under PAS 2035
Obligation Whole-house PAS 2035

Energy Company Obligation (ECO4)

Targeted energy efficiency and heating upgrades for low-income and vulnerable households. Can fund insulation, low carbon heating, glazing and more via obligated suppliers.

  • UK-wide • Priority for EPC D–G homes
  • Local Authority “ECO4 Flex” route may apply
  • Works typically delivered under PAS 2035
Grant Heat pumps

Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)

Grants towards low-carbon heating: £7,500 for air or ground source heat pumps; £5,000 for some biomass. Apply via an MCS installer.

0% VAT on Energy-Saving Materials
